Pumpkin Cranberry Buckwheat Groats


INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup of Buckwheat Groats - Learn more about buckwheat here

  • 1/5 cup of Pumpkin Puree (Not pumpkin pie filling)

  • 1 tbsp Dried Cranberries

  • 1 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1 tbsp Ground Flaxseeds

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook your buckwheat groats just like you would oatmeal, over stove top on medium heat for about 10 - 15 minutes. Continue adding water if needed. Once cooked, take off the heat.

  2. Add pumpkin puree, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds and cinnamon.

  3. Mix together all of these ingredients.

  4. Optional toppings: Banana for some flavor and maple syrup as a sweetener.
