1/3 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup liquid cage-free egg whites
1 tsp ground flaxseeds
Dash of cinnamon
Mix 1/3 cup of quick cooking oats with 1/3 cup of water with a dash of vanilla extract in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 45 seconds.
Add 1/3 cup of liquid cage-free egg whites to the bowl, stir and microwave again for another 45 seconds (stirring half way).
Top the cooked oatmeal with banana, strawberry, ground flaxseed, peanut butter, honey and cinnamon.
I love this breakfast because its really quick and I know I am getting in a lot of protein. Sometimes I honestly don't want to have eggs. So this is the perfect way to sneak in those eggs. Your kids, hubby or friends won't ever know the secret behind these creamy oats!
