Quick & Affordable Holiday Gift Idea for all of my Busy Bees (plus a free tasting)

Updated: May 8, 2020

I have been obsessed with SoChatti for 2 years now. They make premium dark chocolate that comes in a convenient, no mess pouch that you use similar to a piping bag! Their products are dairy free, vegan, gluten-free, nut free and soy-free. It’s made with only 3

simple ingredients: cacao nibs, cane sugar, cacao butter. The best part is that it’s a local Indianapolis company and can be found on Amazon!

After using SoChatti in so many of my recipes over the years I can confirm that it is the best tasting and easiest way to use melted chocolate. The use 72% dark chocolate and they have found a way to allow the true flavors of the cacao bean to shine through. Since SoChatti uses cacao beans from Peru, Tanzania, Ecuador and Trinidad, they all have different flavors. On each package you will find specific tasting notes that explain exactly what the unique flavor of the chocolate tastes like. It really does feel like an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Here are some examples of the tasting notes:

  • A harmonious chocolate with a gentle vanilla peak and a sweet honey finish

  • Single Origin Dark Chocolate with a smooth, dark cherry start followed by a long, rich chocolate finish

  • An elegant dark chocolate that dances between berries and a creamy chocolate base

SoChatti has so many different uses (click here for their recipe page). I have created two simple, plant-based holiday recipes for you. The first recipe is a holiday bark recipe utilizing nuts, seeds and dried fruit. You can use anything for this bark such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, pomegranate, goji berries, cacao nibs and even crunched up candy cane pieces. The second recipe is a fun hot chocolate waffle recipe with a dark chocolate drizzle which would make a great Christmas morning breakfast!
