HOMEMADE OAT MILK

Here's an affordable and easy 5 minute recipe to make oat milk from scratch at home!



Ingredients


  • 3 cups water, filtered & chilled

  • 1/2 cup organic rolled oats

  • 1 date, pitted (add more for added sweetness)

  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


Directions


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender.

  2. Blend for no more than 20 seconds on medium/high speed.

  3. Pour the blended oat milk through a nut milk bag (I use Ellie’s Best) and into a bowl.

  4. Pour the strained oat milk into a mason jar or glass bottle and keep in the fridge for about 5-6 days.

  5. You can freeze the oat milk pulp and add it into smoothies, or even just use it in a cookie recipe (theres plenty of cookie recipes online).
